Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Happi Hacking AB ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.
1. Who We Are
Happi Hacking AB KIVRA: 556912-2707 106 31 Stockholm, Sweden info@happihacking.se
We operate the website happihacking.com and related sub-pages.
2. What Data We Collect
When you sign up for resources (for example, the Fintech Scale Checklist) or contact us, we may collect:
- Email address (required to deliver the resource or reply)
- Name, company, and role (optional)
- Technical data such as IP address and browser type (logged automatically by our hosting provider)
When you buy a book, we store your email, offer and campaign, order reference, amount and currency, Stripe payment references, payment status, digital-delivery status, collection status and your digital-delivery consent. Stripe collects your card and any required billing details. We do not receive or store your full card number. Our first-party book analytics record visits, checkout starts and verified purchases using offer and campaign identifiers, without customer emails or payment details.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Process purchases, send secure download links and provide order support
- Send the resource or newsletter you requested
- Respond to inquiries or support requests
- Improve our content and website reliability
- Comply with legal obligations (for example, GDPR record-keeping)
We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Purchase processing and delivery are necessary to perform our contract with you. Accounting records are kept to meet legal obligations. Optional marketing is based on consent; buying a book does not add you to a newsletter. Security and aggregate first-party usage measurement rely on legitimate interests. You can withdraw marketing consent through the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Purchase and delivery emails are service messages, separate from marketing.
5. Storage and Retention
Data is stored securely in EU-based or GDPR-compliant cloud services. We keep contact information only as long as necessary to deliver requested materials or comply with legal duties, then delete or anonymize it.
6. Your Rights
Under the EU GDPR you have the right to:
- Access and receive a copy of your data
- Request correction or deletion
- Object to processing or request restriction
- Data portability to another provider
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority
To exercise these rights, email info@happihacking.se.
7. Cookies and Analytics
Purchase forms and authenticated areas use necessary session and security cookies. Book sales use first-party analytics as described above, without personal information in the recorded campaign events.
Core website assets such as fonts, icons, and syntax-highlighting resources are self-hosted on our own servers. We avoid third-party scripts and external CDNs for normal site delivery.
The main exception is functional third-party integrations that you choose to use, such as payment processing through Stripe during checkout. In those cases, the relevant provider may process the information required to complete that transaction.
Book purchases do not require advertising or newsletter consent.
8. Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at /privacy/ with the date shown at the top.
